Pastor Brandon Price, MDIV, LMSW

Brandon serves as the Executive Director and Chairperson for Uplifting People & Properties (UPP). He is a dedicated therapist, ordained minister, and passionate advocate for mental health and community well-being. He lives in Kansas City, MO, with his wife, Margene, and their daughter, Brielle.

Education and Professional Background

Brandon’s educational journey began in the Kansas City Missouri School District and led him to earn a bachelor's degree in social work from West Virginia State University. He later pursued a Master of Divinity from Virginia Union University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Kansas.

With over 18 years of experience in social work and mental health, Brandon is a licensed Master-level social worker with a deep commitment to mental health care. He currently serves as an outpatient group therapist for teenagers. His work spans community mental health and inpatient settings, where he has developed a reputation for compassionate care and effective guidance.

Ministry and Faith Leadership

Brandon brings over two decades of ministry experience. He is the founding pastor of Uplift Worship Center in South Kansas City, MO, where he dedicates himself to creating a welcoming, transformative space for worship and healing. Uplift Worship Center is a nondenominational Bible teaching church with a strong emphasis in Community Outreach.

Advocacy and Community Mission

God has uniquely equipped Brandon to bridge the worlds of ministry and mental health, and he is a vocal advocate for mental health awareness in both church and community settings. His calling extends beyond therapy rooms and pulpit ministry to empower disenfranchised and distressed individuals with the resources and spiritual support they need.

Driven by a mission to foster intimate, healing connections with self, others, and God, Brandon Price continues to serve as a steadfast connector, inspiring people to find strength and purpose in faith, community, and well-being.

LINDA Clayton, MBA

Linda Clayton is a retired District Manager with the Social Security Administration, concluding a remarkable 46-year career in public service. Throughout her tenure, she was dedicated to helping those in need, ensuring that vital services were accessible to the community's most vulnerable. Her leadership and commitment were integral to the agency’s success in delivering on its mission.

She holds a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor’s degree in Management, and an Associate of Arts, all of which contributed to her effective management and operational expertise.

Now in retirement, Linda continues her service to the community as a Community Wellness Ambassador for the Kansas City Health Department. In this role, she remains passionate about advocating for public health, promoting wellness, and supporting initiatives aimed at improving the overall well-being of Kansas City residents.

Dennis powell, MBA

Dennis Powell, Jr. is the Executive Director and Chair of TSOS "Do Good" Foundation, a startup nonprofit that he has successfully scaled through his leadership and expertise. Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, he attended Archbishop O’Hara High School before graduating with honors from Avila University with a Bachelor’s degree in General Management. He later earned a Master of Business Administration from Webster University and graduated with honors.

With a career spanning several industries, Mr. Powell brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Uplifting People and Properties (UPP). When he is not leading his foundation, which serves thousands of individuals annually, he can be found volunteering at his church, producing a nationally syndicated radio broadcast, serving on several nonprofit and civic boards, or spending time with his wife, their three dogs, and their families.

An author, teacher, public speaker, and mentor, Mr. Powell has a true passion for service and lives each day by his foundation’s motto: “Do Good 365!”
